WELCOME TO STRANGE RESTORATIONS

Strange Restorations is based in Ingleburn, Sydney Australia. The Business was started in 2015, however our restorers have many years of experience restoring their own collections and displays.  We have gathered the creative people together to source or make parts and help in their chosen fields.  All staff are members of enthusiast based societies, groups, museums and clubs.  We encourage active participation and sharing of knowledge. Strange Restorations is proudly Australian and our works can be seen across this country.

Over the years we have undertaken restorations of all manner of objects, we understand that not all artefacts can be restored to their original condition (and sometimes they should be left alone or preserved instead), so we are happy to talk with our clients about the best way forward.

• BLACK DIRT SHIRT, apparel for the restorer/worker
• Custom Decals, for collections and for collectors.  We use high quality vinyl and PVC sticker material. Custom pieces are made using our special decal cutter.
• Restore and season old cast iron cookware. We also use and teach cast iron cookery
• "Vapour Blasting" Coming soon in 2022​
• Prop hire and Prop finding. We specialise in Kitchenware, Industrial and Agricultural antiques
• Television and Movie work - Our collections have featured in TV, Movie, stage production and museum displays​​

We have a large network of collections that we can use to source and find items you may wish to hire. 

Although we don't often do cars for customers. Above is an example of our work, a 1924 Model T ford Utility. 
This was our first vintage car project and has been used on many club runs and has been in several TV shows!
